This is the first painting in a series I am working on known as "The Conception of the Gods". Nut was completed in September '09. At the base of the painting there is a tie-in to the second painting...Nut's thighs, Geb's knee & the solarburst can be seen in both pieces to create a connection between the two as Earth & Cosmic Sky.
