A friend of mine wanted to see the steps I used for Amalthya and Minai so I dug this picture up, made a couple of prints and did this. Initially I had plans to use other colors but then realized I'd yet to color a drow or anything black-skinned with traditional media (w/any success). It's a bit of a mess, but was really just an exercise and I'm pleased with the results. I figure with some practice I'll be able to do it right eventually. Better yet, it scanned -beautifully-. Colored pencil over a marker base. Completed: April 30, 2004
