An American Anachronism

A small diner in Washington State. I had to sit there and listen to the biggest jerk I had encountered on the journey so I figured I would take advantage and turn it into something positive and get some reference photos for this painting. And it was either the jerk to my left or a way too young girl to my right who was having lunch with her family. Or, the scene at the counter. THe original was HUGE, well huge for me at 58 by 38, I worked on this for nearly a year in my spare time. The original is sold but 10" by 16" prints of a run of only 25 are available for $49

I just love the atmosphere you created with the warm colors above to the cool blues of the chairs, Great style and technique David. Nicely done, my friend.--Denny
