great contrast, but i think that you could make better use of the negative space. so often, as artists, we tend to ignore the negative space as the ugly stepchild and pay our only attention to the main focus. this gives us the unfortunate happenstance of a subject floating in the void of space. i love the concept in this abstract, but encourage you, in some future peice, to step back and consider what is AROUND your subject, what is it's 'world'
