....a kinder, more civilized and polite gentleman than might be assumed... a streak of temper, well-hidden, and the literacy - also too well-hidden... ....poets on both sides - but avant-garde poets, for better or worse... a procrastinator...saving the best for last, unintentionally!

This one pulls at me. For some reason I did not want to look at it. Do you believe in evil as a thing in itself? I don't. But this is like a self-portrait of evil, though I have no reason to think the artist is an evil man. The eyes blazing blue, looking down, looking past. Killing, and not with love.

Artist Reply: I confess - this was _collaboration_ between another artist and myself.... I didn't have the heart to tell her that I felt much the same... hence my explanations...my eyes are not nearly so blue and piercing for one thing...hahahahah
