Stravinsky Fountain

The Stravinsky fountain in Paris was created In 1982 by Niki de Saint Phalle and Jean Tinguely. It is located next to the Centre Georges Pompidou. 16 mechanical sculptures inspired after Igor Stravinsky's music gyrate and blow water in a distinctly modern piece. In the upper photo L'oiseau de feu (Firebird), in the lower one - L'elephant (The Elelphant). The photos were taken on April 10, 2009.
