Drawing done with rose petals of Our Lady of Guadalupe. I've visited the Shrine of Guadalupe several times. For many years I have experimented with using roses to make drawings. After learning of how the miraculous image of La Virgen de Guadalupe was created, I decided to make a portrait of her with rose petals. I was working on this when I found out my Aunt had passed away. The portrait was completed in 2 consecutive night sessions.
