"The best is yet to come......wow" (smile) .....Now that I have taken a full year from my regular duties, of what hundreds witnessed for over 14 years in Los Angeles County, and another eight prior to the transformation and youth diversion program writings... my time is now spent learning, networking, painting BIG PICTURES, writing updated curriculum, investigating, and building new dimensions of the arts and therapeutic youth programs. Funny, I keep finding my teaching account cards, official program Identifications, security passes, field trip entry letters, sealed certificates, vivid student projects and class photographs... all directly linked to the Creative Youth diversion programs, and everytime I do, it brings back the wonders and serious challenges of directly teaching multiple placement "At-risk", foster-home and criminal juvenile delinquents.... the best reality-based of kids in the world.... the most fantastic of rough and tender human connections, daily lessons learned and conveyed... and the intense, yet most memorable, unorthodox scholarly settings... oh boy, lol * After the 2009-2010 exhibition collections are completed, with God's help, I am looking forward to new continual adventures in Arternatives CYDP instructions* Rios
