Sun, actually is the source of light, so, if you wish to express it on paper or canvas - just paint a white circle. This would be the most honest image of the Sun. Sun to the artist is something completely different: it could be a God or an Ocean of flame, Hell or contrarywise - Mother of Life and so on. Interpretations are endless.
