This is a photo of a Lion that I saw on a trip to Germany. It was located in the Pergamon Museum near the Ishtar Gate(c. 604–562 B.C.). It is from ancient Babylon, and is made from glazed bricks. I ran it through photoshop and jazzed the image up a little, but the life-sized lions were very beautifully stylized. I have included an image of the procession way where the lion was located.
