In The Lion's Den

Originally a drawing I did as a concept for a painting, I liked the concept drawing so much that I desided to experiment with lighting effects instead. This piece is surreal, the message is pretty obvious though the location of each lion does play a sinificant role as well. For instance, the lion most willing to attack and lunge at me is Peer Presure, the biggest lion in Society, Fear likes to dwell in the back like it does in our thoughts, Hate is the one that's furthest from my light and Media just stands there giving subtle suggestions to manipulate my thoughts. This piece is mostly a reminder to myself to hold on and as long as I hold true to myself and my heart then the Lions cannot touch me. This was inspired by The Book of Danial in the Old Testiment.
