Original watercolor painted December 2008 on 6" X 9" paper. Depicting a desert sunset... Again, no actual visual reference was used here; just a mental image--but, from living in the midst of the Mohave Desert for the past almost 19 years, this was not too much of stretch of the imagination to put on canvas. I only used 2 brushes: a 1/2 inch flat to handle pretty much the majority of the scene, and a 0 round to fill in some finite detail
