I'll Be Home For Christmas . . . Interpretation

Moma's African Violet . . .Daddy came to me this Christmas, and I wanted to share this with Moma, your gift from Daddy and Me. As you know I have had this plant since March. It has never so much as tried to bloom, until now????? . . .And behold He springs forth in blossoming beauty, to announce his presence around us, as we yet still grieve the loss of his beauty in our lives. Thus he lets it be known, that he watches us still. . . . .And Moma can tell you, if Daddy wanted to come to us again, what better way than in the form of a plant? My Daddy was always the best gardener I know. So Moma, this is for you, Daddy still shines for us. I love you with all that I am, Joanna ^A^

Your florals and flowers are quite beautiful. I just saw a Georgia O'Keefe exhibit, and I usually prefer photos of the quality of yours (don't tell anyone!).

Jo, I want to touch base with you and hope to have more time to post more pics to AW. I am touched by your beautiful story about how your father appeared in the form of this gorgeous African Violet. How fitting for the New Year to send this message of love and profound beauty to you and your Mom. His spirit is very much alive in this dazzling embodiment of his love for you that "shines" sending you both a profound message of his presence beyond the grave. You have not lost the beauty of his graceful and remarkable spirit that will always blossom in your heart and remind you how much you are loved. This is very poignant. Wishing you a wonderful New Year. Your cuz san J.

Artist Reply: Dear Julie, Your words always hit straight in my very being, to burst into billions of warm exilirating bubbles of joy with their profound meanings and sincerity. Although it is warm in louisiana, winter doth my heart freeze, that alas you have, with such understanding and beauty of words, brought forth sunshine and peace. thank you for chipping the ice away I love you, cuz san julie johanna q jungjohann
