Study Break

I am a retired teacher and now I substitute teach. I often get inspiration to create art from being around children. This is a second-grade student who was content with himself after studying hard for an hour for an upcoming Math test. Nothing distracted him from being focused on completing 20 addition problems. He deserved to relax after he had gotten 17 out of 20 problems correct. I quickly sketched this student taking his study break, and I transformed the sketch to this digital artwork in the "Paint" program on my computer.
