The other side of the smudge pot. Mt. Rubidoux is a well known landmark in So. California. The cross on the mountain is gigantic and can be seen for many miles. The photo unfortunately fails to capture the slight sparkle of the pearl paint that is the cross. against the sun, it has the colors of an opal. Each painting is highly protected against any fading, chipping, and wear with a thick clear lacquer.
