Yet another work for my Stephen King Tarot card project. It seemed 'fitting' somehow to depict Johnny Depp as King's angst ridden character, Morton Rainey from his story, Secret Window-Secret Garden. Rainey, in the film, deteriorated psychologically until his personality split apart and his 'darker persona' of John Shooter took over and possessed the Rainey body. havingRainey living in a remote cabin away from the parasitic, adultress of his wife, Rainey holed himself up in the cabin to try to sort out exactly who-or what-he truly is or was. This description by King (and portrayed in the film Secret Window) made the Character of Mort Rainey a perfect (Howard Hughes-type) hermit. Original penciled image is created on 11"x14" 50# bumblebee art paper. Pen & Inked and then completed in Colored Pencil. Original work, so no prints. COA provided if requested. unmatted, unframed.
