Taking a spur of the moment hike with my husband and daughter, as the sun was starting to go down, in a local park, motivated me to paint the scene (with a photograph for reference). The painting was eventually bought in honor of a local woman who died at too young of an age, from cancer, and is hung in a nearby hospital in her memory. Oil on canvas. Size 12x16
