MR. REAGAN'S FALL OF THE BERLIN WALL - mural study

This is a black and white version of the full-color original painting being prepared for an international gallery exhibition to be completed by 2010* This painting took several technical stages and extensive research levels. I was given private access to the full archives at The Ronald Reagan Presidential Museum & Library in Simi Valley, California, as well as direct accuisition to original pieces of the Berlin wall from the 1989 world-event. The sketches composed were all scrutinized for accuracy and the final portrait of president Reagan was hand painted in a suburban style with outlines and color variables. Canvas was custom-contructed by Mr. Ruben Cardenas (my main carpenter) and the parts and wall pieces were set in place by special hardening glues and epoxy layers* It was quite interesting reading and viewing the not-so-distant past historical details again and again.
