Eddie is sweet. Wonderful pastels, it looks like oils, especially in the beautiful background. There aren't so many black cats, is he totally black?
Artist Reply: Pastels are my favourite medium, Anneke. I love their texture - especially the "buttery" ones. Yes, Eddie is totally black, except when the sun shines through him - then he has red-brown colours. Poor Eddie went blind overnight last year, so he rarely goes out in the sun now.
