Copyright 2008 Royal Flamingo Works LLC - The Vetran (model release on file) J. Hyatt, veteran of Omaha Beach joins the Memorial Day parade spontaneously after the last unit passes. His participation evoked lots of emotion from parade goers. Post Script: Sadly, Mr. Hyatt passed away on Saturday, July 19 and "The Greatest Generation" is short one more member.

Thanks for posting this one, Chip. Brought tears to my eyes, because I know how much veterans define patriotism. I have no doubt that Mr. Hyatt was bursting pride when he took this walk. I imagine he felt as good as when he raised his hand as a teenager to serve his country so many years ago. Thanks again. You're a patriot, too.Van Cordle 01 Aug 2008
