I drew this on a very small piece of velour paper using pastel pencils which I hadn't tried before. The paper holds the pastel really well, but there's no room for mistakes, as you can't brush them off or blend on this kind of paper. Hello, Joanne, how are you doing? This is one of my favorite paintings of yours! I always love returning to your portfolio and browsing. By the way, your son Connor left a comment on one of my pencil drawings a couple of months ago and I wanted to make sure that I had thanked him.
