KIDS TRUCKS - Los Angeles tragedies and healing

In years past, I have spraypainted so many industrial metal vehicles in Los Angeles with the most wonderful images of real inner city children. A) On the first truck were three African American little brothers from Watts, whose house had just burned down. Pastor J from Metro Kidz took them in and provided support and resources for this entire broken family in transition. B) The second Metal panel was a painting of a Mexican boy in the city who had experienced a tragedy with his parents. My friend Kano watched and secured the area as I painted. I love Children's outreach and appreciate so much Daniel, Sara Garcia, Mary Lou Bewley and now dear Vivian, working hard to make a difference* I normally paint bright warm colored skies in the backgrounds to contrast the depressing concrete greys of the city* HR 1995 / 1997
