Farewell to Spring

Clarkia amoena (Farewell to Spring or Godetia; syn. Godetia amoema) is a flowering plant native to western North America. The genus was named in honour of the American explorer Captain William Clark (1770-1838). The photo was taken on May 12, 2008 in Tel-Aviv.
