I'm just Peachy!

I'm a Salmon Crested Cockatoo. I love coconuts, so much so that I can destroy entire groves with my pals. The farmers don't like us much, so they have taken measures to reduce our numbers, along with the trappers that sell us as pets. Thats why I am on the endangered species list. Taken in Aldergrove at the GVZ, B.C.

What a beauty Pamela! The color reminds me of peach sherbet. How can anyone be cruel to one of God's beautiful creature? He/She is just doing what comes natural. Your capture is so expressful of these wonderful birds.

Artist Reply: Hiya Leigh :) Thanks for the fantastic comment!! I'll never understand cruelty to any animals. I suppose as they say, money is the root of all evil and its money they are after. Or maybe its Vanity, just to say they have one. No matter what the reason, its still not good enough to wipe out a speices. Thanks again Leigh, your a doll!
