Artist Reply: Thanks. jamie it is allway's interesting to realise someone's pictues in their context -- this one I prepared by repairing the fence, the fence widely accepted now ,as my gallerie. But this fence is also falling down if those using it don't care repairing it -- I do so, but the graffiti artists who come from all the town, from france , from america -- atleast some of them, is also members of the anarchy youth that once a forthnight rage this othervise tolerent part of copenhagen. -- With Graffiti evolution made it so, that very few local people ,can reconise the difference between two pieces, esp when the messeages are "FuckCops" or "KillThe Pigs" , and the reson for putting up a painting , is rather to start a war, than to add a bit of beauty to the local street. As a result my "gallerie" recived vandalism , some american "street fighter" some arts or dropout arts student, simply couldn't stand to see my latest pieces, and proved Graffiti is not about art but agression. ---- that mean tagging and vandalising others pieces -- guess you understand my kind of divided attitude towerds the Graffiti people, when you rather shuld inroll as soldier ,acting art like that.
