Passover

Passover (Hebrew: Pesach) is a seven-day Jewish holiday commemorating the Exodus from Egypt and the liberation of the Israelites from slavery. Jewish families all over the world gather tonight, the first night of Passover, for a special dinner called a Seder (Hebrew word for "order", referring to the very specific order of the ritual). During this meal, the story of the Exodus from Egypt is retold using a special text called the Haggadah. Four cups of wine are consumed at various stages in the narrative. Passover is also called The Festival of the Unleavened Bread and it refers to the week-long period when leaven has been left out, and unleavened bread or matzah ("flatbread"), the holiday's primary symbol, is eaten to recall the rapid departure of the Israelies from Egypt. (Wikipedia)***** I wish all my AW friends a wonderful weekend. And to those who celebrate Passover I wish all the joys of Passover!

Lovely shot and very interesting to read Passover. I have never heard about it before so I am very curious. I love drinking red wine, reading and eating bread so maybe I can join in this week! Enjoy the holiday dear Lili.
