Acrylics on paper. Two of the local boats moored alongside Old Head pier in Co. Mayo, with Croagh Patrick on the skyline. This painting was photographed in strong sunlight (quite a rarity around these parts!) so the actual colours are actually somwhat stronger than show here.

This is a general comment of all your work. The entire body of your work here has an excellent textural quality that grabbed my eye immediately. You also use a neutral pallet exceedingly well and your use of color is very well balanced. Your ability to execute austere landscapes is outstanding and I can attribute that only to the afore mentioned qualities I identified that your work possesses, and to your mature highly developed sense of composition.
