This is a painting that I did in an effort to preserve a statue I acquired at an antique store in Deutschland.I have tried to find more info on the statue but have been unsuccesful in finding any or in locating the original from which the plaster reproduction was made.I love the little Madonna and child and here she is!If interested in seeing the pictures of the statue let me know.The title of the piece is admirable mother because that is what is inscribed at the bottom of the statue.If you happen to have info on this statue pls contact me via email.
