Circles I and II were simply an experiment with geometry and colour; the contrast of the metallic shades and the primaries provides the element of surprise that each of us look forward to in life. The two pieces are similar, but each is unique as different as male and female, night and day, hot and cold. The circular shapes fit inside each other, intersect each other, and avoid touching each other as do the varied elements of existence in this circle of life. (10 x 20), February 2000.
