Painting#2

Hours now, I've blindly stumbled trough this accursed swamp, that creature still behind me. The heat and humidity is insane here, a perpetual mist that hangs in the air. I need a drink so bad it hurts. My next step brings me to a small pond, a puddle, but it looks clean. As I kneel to take a drink I hear a snapping of branches; I think it's found me! 8 x 10 acrylic on canvas, jan/feb 08

great short story to go with the picture Wayne!!! Maybe you shouldn't have eaten those mushrooms when walking through the swamp!!!!!

Artist Reply: Hahaha Thanks Patrick. I'm still determined to learn to paint. I've been (trying to) watch all the re-runs of Bob Ross, to learn how. Someday something might sink in.
