While in Crestone CO at sundown I saw a cat that looked something like this one--the full moon was above the mountains and the sunset looked like it painted the mountain tops. The cat was a type of lynx but strangely enough had a long tail. I have never found out exactly what it was.

Artist Reply: I actually saw one of these in Crestone Colorado while on a meditation retreat...it was walking near our lodge as if it was tame. I was so sorry I didn't have my camera at the time. I could not get the image out of my mind. The moon was up and it was at sunset so the tops of the mountains were organge. It looked so beautiful I tried to capture the scene.
