I have a set of plastic animal figures that I bought at the Toronto Zoo when we went for our mini honeymoon in July 2007. They have been hanging on the door to my art room for quite some time and I just re-discovered them. They'd been there so long I didn't even see them anymore! So I opened them up and I was inspired to do this piece! A mermaid with all her tropical friends. I also wanted to attempt to create creatures I've never done before. I really like how it all came together! This imagine belongs to the artist, Maigan Lynn, and may not be duplicated or used in any way without direct permission from the artist.
