With realistic objects, it's all about 'light' and that's what makes this really shine forth, Julianna. You even got the subtle but important difference between bone and tooth enamel down. The apple core is a nice touch too.

This is a stunning and powerful piece revealing your fine artistry using charcoal as a medium. I am drawn to primitive imagery and your drawings of the architecture of these skulls are wonderful with subtle hues and a touch of color that is both compelling and soft integrating imagery into a fascinating work of art. I look forward to viwing more of your outstanding work. I love the apple core as it enriches the piece and reveals your unique style and playful spirit.
