its me!
this is a portrait of me, looking miserable, but it was a pic taken, when i had just woken up.
i enjoy doing self portraits, except i get the urge to change parts of me i dont like!lol
it is painted on canvas, using black and white acrylic.
Self portraits are always wonderful. They reveal so much about the artist as a person and an artist. You place yourself at a very eccentric angle with your face distorted by the angle of the camera. It is disturbing and heartfelt at the same time. The roll of art is to convert some of that misery into timeless images. In that, you succeed. Nice work.
