I like the blended colors and the rhythm of the bricks counterpointed by the crawling vines. This piece really moves, if you get my drift. ;) How can leaves seem sad, I wonder? I get that feeling from them.
Artist Reply: The leaves are sad, Charles. They are hoping one day to get out of there, to climb away. However, they are very heavy and it takes a lot for them to continue to grow. But I don't think they will give up. There is hope in this one. Thanks for your comments. Always appreciated :)
