Seascape Boulders

This is a dramatic photo of a weathered Boulder on a wet beach in Malibu. Often there is high tide so these particular rocks are in a process of continual change given the ebb and flow of the sea. On the upper far right is a small image of the ocean;however I did not want to take away the impact of this magnificent work of nature by focusing on the ocean below.

Hi Julie! I'm back! This piece has the most amazing story behind it. Earth in its beginning. Set the picture upright...from land..mountains..water..spueing upwards from the Earth's belly...life comes forth! I see the very first dragon being born! In her orange and red scales..drifting down to feed from the life giving food coming forth from the belly of mother earth. She will hover and feed until Her wings grow huge and strong. She is not the only one. Others are coming forth that She will feed upon...or they will feed upon Her...Such is the laws of nature...being made RIGHT NOW!

Artist Reply: Joanne, I love your highly imaginative and creative mind. You always have a fascinating perception and narrative about my photographs. I see the face of "mother earth" etched in the rock on the far left, a very wise and weathered face, very primitive and primordial.
