Hand built vase TIED BOWS

This is called a 'pierced pot' as after building it has a pattern of holes made, in this case they have been threaded through with a 'rope' of clay, which has then been tied in a bow, before the whole thing being hand painted, glazed and fired. Usual copyright applies.

Artist Reply: Thanks again, Annette: this was my first attempt at pierced work, and was one of the first pieces that I sold: I came across the photo' just recently, and thought folks may like to see it. Glad you like it. :) Gwen.
