What I like about your style, Mary-Anna, is that you are something of a diamond-cutter when you paint. You chip away all the extraneous bits, the imperfections, the distractions, and leave only the facets that enhance the over-all visual effect. Your pieces are like little jewels as a result, and YOUR individual stamp is upon each one.
Artist Reply: Charles, What a beautiful thing to say. I really appreciate your comments! I came from an oil painting background and am trying to get the same lighting effects I got with oils in my watercolors.
