A very precious drawing for me. First, the drawing is going to be 10 years old in this year - and still the best drawing I ever did (my opinion), second, this drawing took more time for drawing than any other I have ever done. I started with this project in 1996 and finished it at the end of 1997, the frame was done a year later in 1998. This took 2 years including studies, many sketches, museum visits in Berlin etc. Done with coloured pencils on bristol board. size 27 x 40 inch. The frame is done with watercolours.
