Love the sky in this lovely typical english village scene. Reminds us we do have blue sky occassionally!!

Artist Reply: I was tempted to say "thank goodness", but I'm just as thankful really that the blue skies aren't neverending, as if they were we'd not have Constable's paintings. Thank you so much Kathryn. :) Gwen.

Very nice. I thought all English villages had cobblestone streets- I think adding that might enhance this work but either way, it is really nicely done.

Artist Reply: Very few cobblestnes about now Candy, which is just as well as they were great ankle breakers and, years ago, going down Richmond Hill on a push-bike, you risked shaking your teeth loose; you're more likely to find speed trap cameras and 'trafic calming devices' like 'sleeping policemen. Thank you for your praise of my picture.
