Artist Reply: I was tempted to say "thank goodness", but I'm just as thankful really that the blue skies aren't neverending, as if they were we'd not have Constable's paintings.

Very nice. I thought all English villages had cobblestone streets- I think adding that might enhance this work but either way, it is really nicely done.
Artist Reply: Very few cobblestnes about now Candy, which is just as well as they were great ankle breakers and, years ago, going down Richmond Hill on a push-bike, you risked shaking your teeth loose; you're more likely to find speed trap cameras and 'trafic calming devices' like 'sleeping policemen.
