Well very simply I drew an anti valentines day pick. I don't like valentines day, it could be that I'm bitter that I've never been a part of it. Or it could be all the sappy red hearts and fattening candy with overly bold statements like "f*** me" Or it could just be that valentines day is so hurtful to a lot of people that don't have somebody who loves them. Anyhoo, yes the green creature is cupid, destroyer of hearts. lol. The inscription is just my own quote, "Love exists in fantasy, so lets all dream... as we celebrate defeat" its a kinda pessimistic piece yes. I hope you can all "read" the different meanings in this piece, you may not get entirely what I intended but thats ok, just as long as you get something out of it. btw those are land mines between the little purple hearts on the right and their prospective significant others to the left of them.
