Shark pool

The largest pool in Eilat's Underwater Observatory Marine Park is dedicated to the kings of the sea: sharks. Sharks swim powerfully yet gracefully in a giant container holding 650,000 liters of seawater. They come within touch of the pool's surrounding windows. Above the pool is an observation bridge, where the sharks can be seen as they'd be seen at sea. Most of the sharks in the pool are the impressive sandbar sharks. Nearby swim the aptly-named silky sharks and two spotted eagle rays. Visitors can enjoy a special experience each day at 11:00 when a brave diver feeds the sharks their daily diet of fish. The photo was taken on February 10, 2007.

Oh boy your not only good with a camera but your fearless too.

Artist Reply: Dear Robin, I'm very sorry to disappoint you, but I'm not as fearless as you think... The photo was taken through the window surrounding the pool, NOT inside the pool... Kind regards, Lili
