Ramparts

This photo goes way back to 1993 when I went on one of my most photographically successful outings ever. I spent two weeks in Alberta and Saskatchewan and explored a variety of natural terrain. My first stop was Waterton Lakes National Park in the south western corner of Alberta. I was treated with a most remarkable sunrise and got several good alpine glow photos. This was lucky because Mt. Pinatubo's eruption two years earlier and the ash that subsequently encircled the globe caused alpine glow to be generally weak for the next few years. Yet I was fortunate enough to have good light that morning in the Rockies.

Artist Reply: Thank you, Greg and sorry to be responding so late. I appreciate your words. Many times I enjoy your photography but can't think of exactly what to say that might be original.
