Wonderful work for a first time portrait! I recognized it was Jim M. right away! This has a nice, classical feel to it, almost as if Michelangelo had done a drawing of him No joke)! You can continue to add detail and refine this some more if you wish, but it still looks fine as is...(Helpful artist tip: When you draw from a reference pic, it helps to turn your drawing upside down to notice any errors in symmetry and such. Turn the reference picture upside also to see how it compares with your original drawing. It's good eye-training...)
Artist Reply: Thank you so very much for the advice! I can always use pointers, especially when it comes to portraits. I will definitely try that technique! I had a lot of fun drawing Jim, I'm glad you enjoyed it.
Thanks again
