This area,which lies about half way between the city of Vancouver and White Rock, is situated along the coast of British Columbia and is rich in wildlife including many species of shore birds,birds of prey,seals,sea lions,and is also an important migratory path for salmon, as well as several species of migratory birds. It is situated at the mouth of the Fraser river and at this time of year there are many thousands of Snow geese resting up before their long journeys to temperate wintering habitat climates. During the spring and summer the area is blanketed with many species of multi-colored wildfowers.
