Golden Eagle

This is of a painting which I painted on a box canvas and is a bigger size. It is an imposing painting and a detailed study of a beautiful bird of prey. The size is 20x28 inches

Gorgeous eagle, is it a young bald eagle, or a golden eagle? Anyways, he's beautiful. I just wish it was more in focus...

Artist Reply: Hi Jeane, it is a golden eagle, quite common on the Isle of Lewis. The digital camera and I are still to get better acquainted and I didn't realise the photo was so blurry until I had loaded it on. You would think I could take photos in focus! Anyway, glad you like the painting.
