Golden Lily Blossom

THis is a beautiful lily that I spotted in the 8 or more varieties growing at the historical colonial Rose Hill Manor gardens. It had a lovely almost melon yellow tone to it, not the same as a daylily, common in the area. This had a large blossom on it as well, very stunning, but less curing in petals as some of the other lilies. There are some wonderful sites on the web if you put in searches for Lily Societies. I was stunned about the varieties they show photos of and some will trade seeds with members. All the information listed only makes me droll in wait to start my own lily gardens.
