This is one of my proposal illustrations for my thesis. This one was taken from the original Godam's story in 1979 which titled the same. Well, Godam is one of Indonesian's silver age superheroes create by Mr. Widodo Noor Slamet (Wid N.S). The story told about the origin of Godam, the story was like an old testament story from Bible. Godam was the son of the Gadari, an officer in the Godam's Land. He was sent to the river like Moeses because his parents went tracked down by the evil emperess Chandalani (the beautiful woman in this illustration). Rised by the rebel, Godam learn how to fight until he is know the truth about his origin. He must survived in the dessert, gain his clothes and his cape. Then bring back his nation to freedom. That's the story before he became a superhero. phew....
