Born on the year of the Dragon, he was given the name Ryuta, a Dragon boy/child. His second name was given after the King, Miles Davis. Photo was taken on his graduation party this year by one of his classmates. Odd how time flys and goes very slow at the same time..... My oldest son is 18 years old now.

Artist's portraits of their own children have a special magic. The artist wants to glorify their creation, but not overwhelm the viewer. You chose to capture his strong, upward looking silhouette which looks like it is almost carved out of granite. Ah, if our children were only so solid and stable.
