Artist Reply: Thanks for your comments. My girlfriend and I were driving around and saw around 20 monarch butterflies sitting on the road. She thought they might have just recently hatched and were drying out their wings. So we got out to take photos and realized that the field next to the road was all milkweed. So we spent a good half hour or so taking photos. This was the only caterpillar left that we saw. It really was awesome because I've never been able to capture one. Thanks, Tim
